The Debub Forum of Dialogue and Development (DFDD) successfully convened its regular Board meeting on April 4, 2026, at the Gudina Tumsa Center in Addis Ababa to review the organization’s 2025 performance and ratify a strategic roadmap for 2026. Building on a foundation of core legal and administrative compliance achieved in 2025—including the establishment of basic financial systems and formal recognition as a national electoral observer—the Board approved an ambitious 2026 Annual Plan and a budget of 2026. Key priorities for the upcoming year include transitioning from a start-up phase to a fully operational entity by securing a functional office space, recruiting three core staff members, and conducting the organization’s first external audit. Furthermore, the Board emphasized the expansion of program implementation through major initiatives such as the FLOW project in South Omo and innovative e-mobility and climate-resilience partnerships, all while staying true to DFDD’s mission of empowering marginalized communities through inclusive dialogue.
